I posted a couple weeks (? I have no concept of time) ago about LLMDs in North Jersey and recieved some good feedback. I did manage to get an appointment with an LLMD in January BUT I can't afford it. Not by any stretch of the imagination. I'm in college barely managing to work part time and my parents are retired. It's just not feasible... so I was wondering if anyone knew of any doctors that aren't considered LLMDs/aren't being assaulted by insurance companies, but will at least make a sincere attempt at treating me? I'm overwhelmed.

A sincere attempt at treating you will not get you well! You need a doctor who is experienced in treating Lyme and knows which drugs etc. will work for you!
Have you tried calling all of the docs on the list you received? There are a few LLMD's who participate with various insurance plans. Send me a private message and let me know which docs you've contacted. I may know of some others... Posts: 2097 | From PA | Registered: Jan 2004
