Not wanting to waste time with a doctor who doesn't know what he/she is talking about, I want a doctor known to be a specialist in Lyme. My location is southern Maine, but travel to Massachussettes or New Hampshire is not far.
I have seen excerpts of a Lyme book on the web. Very interesting. It shows the pitfalls most mainstream doctors and infectious disease specialists make in diagnosis and treatment. And the terrible needless suffering of people. I have seen many stories of people who knew they had Lyme, but could not get a doctor to agree, or could not get a doctor to treat them aggressively, only to eventually travel far to find a good one and encounter new healed lives as a result of creative aggressive treatment. I don't want my story to be that hard. Just point me straight to someone known to be on top of the game.
Thank you SO much for your outstanding service.
