Can I please have a very clear and simple explanation why all this hullabuloo about Lyme disease is secretly coded etc.. This is absolute garbage. I have a husband who is 38, strapping and a Registered Nurse. He is gradually becoming more and more debilitated every day.. WHY CANT I GET SOME HELP!!!!!!
I live in CT. We have insurance. What is the issue. Why is there so much secrecy behind this? I need a LLMD that knows what they are doing. Please help!

Hi Christine,

Sorry, it sucks about the Lyme issues. Change your title to Seeking LLMD in CT and you will get some responses.

Good luck,
Feelfit

We have to protect the few doctors that are actually willing to treat Lyme Disease. Cnronic Lyme Disease is contriversial and therefore some doctors have lost their license for helping us.

Beisdes the book "Cure Unknown", you might want to order a wonderul documentary called "Under Our Skin". It covers the seriousness of Chronic Lyme Disease and also why it is so hard to get the appropriate treatment.

A Boston TV station did a great show on lyme disease recently. Here is the link to it: http://www.kettmann.com/Lyme

When you get to the site, select the link to view the show. The show was taped by a girl on LymeNet and she put it on-line for all of us to be able to view it.

In 10 minutes, you will learn a lot about the medical controversy surrounding lyme disease and why it is so hard to find a doctor who knows how to cure you of lyme disease.

It is better for doctors who treat chronic lyme not to be highlighted in the current climate.

That's why we don't want to name doctors on this site. But, we are happy to email names to you using the Private Message feature of LymeNet.
