Your Dr and 99% of Dr's follow the IDSA guidelines that give you a short course of antibiotics and proclaim that you are cured, despite continuing symptoms.
Your testing was probably done through a local lab and not Igenex, right? Testing is definitely not foolproof. Those other labs miss most cases of lyme.
Proper treatment consists of long term combination antibiotic therapy and lots of supplements, plus proper diet and exercise, etc.
You definitely need a LLMD. I looked for the location of Eagle, PA but couldn't find it. I'm in PA, but not the Southeastern part.
Be sure to also go to the "Medical Questions" board and post there too. There are tons of wonderful and intelligent people here with lots of experience.
