Hello, I first want to say, thank you to everyone here, this board has been very helpful.
I am pulling my hair out. My daughter tested positive last June for Lyme by Igenex,
She was treated first 2 weeks on Doxy, then switched to Zithromax as she could not tolerate the Doxy.
She took Zith for 6weeks , with a couple of weeks of Artemsia, and allimed.
Some symptoms resolved , but not everything.
Her LLND, thought she had Babesia and she took Mepron for two weeks, but had to stop causing , indigestion.
She tested positive For Bartonella Hensalae and Quintana( not sure if spelled correctly)in November 2008. Igg
The ND had her eliminate Gluten, wheat, MSg, didn't notice any relief in symptoms.
Her pediatrician feels that at this point her Lyme was treated and no treatment needed for Bartonella.
Her pediatrician blames her symptoms at this point on anxiety. Urgh. yes some anxiety and depression, but I don't think it's the cause of her symptoms.
Anyway, we started her on Celexa for the anxiety and Depression end of J
anuary at a low dose.
Gradually working up to 20mg. as she has been for at about 1 month.
Since being on 15-20mg she is having lightheadness, some dizziness. She is very sensitive to medicine.
Please, anyone have any experience on this med., she actually takes the generic for Celexa. Have you experienced lightheadness, etc on this medicine.
I m wondering if it is not the med, but Lyme or Co infections. We see Dr. J, finally next Month.
Sorry for the long post.
