I have a pretty long history of Lyme consisting of Neuro. Lyme and IV treatment back in 2005.
Ended treatment early due to PICC line infection and have had numerous tick bites since.
I have been both untreated and undertreated for these bites.
I have had off and on Neuro. symptoms since 2005 and now they are coming back pretty bad.
Since then I was diangnosed with chiari malformation and underwent major neuro. surgery for my symptoms only for them to come back worse after the surgery.
I think it was the lyme the whole time since they all started after that under treated episode in 2005.
That is another story. Brain and spinal surgery for Lyme. It has been a crazy 4 years and I want my life back - don't we all!
A few months ago I had to go on a short course of steriods (post surgery) and of course you know what that did!
Hello lyme once again...
I was bitten by a deer tick last week and then again last night and have been feeling really bad.
The LLMD's (Dr. G.and Dr. F. in NJ) I have seen in the past cannot see me for over a month and one is almost a 2 month wait.
I am a bit hesitiant to see Dr. G. again for a number of reasons and am not comfortable speaking about it in this format.
I am not comfortable waiting a month or two because since the ticks bites I began taking Doxy and have had some major herxes and not feeling well at all.
I was wondering if anyone has the name of a good LLMD in NJ (or Pa.) that might be able to see a new patient sooner then a month or two?
I would really appreciate it!
