After calling all of the pediatric LLMD doctors that were given to me here and getting the standard answer of "it's a 6 month wait". I called the last doctor on the list yesterday and was shocked when they said they could see my son Jacob on the 31st of THIS month.

I also inquired about the possibility of me switching offices after my first LLMD appt with another doctor I am set up to see in MD. They said they would be able to transfer my records and I could come for my follow up with Jacob, 3 weeks after his first appt. there.

Do any of you see these doctors? If so, please PM and tell me what your experience has been either for you or your child.

While I am of course thrilled that there is an opening with a pediatric LLMD this quickly, I am also wondering why the openings if everyone else is a 6 month wait - is something wrong that I am unaware of?

Just trying to decide what to do - I don't want to miss an opportunity to get him treated as early as possible, but I also don't want to waste ALOT of money either and then have to start over with another doctor later.

Thanks in advance,
Aimee

I just talked to somebody who recently started herself & 3 kids with these docs and is (so far) happy. I am seriously considering this clinic myself. I hope you'll share what you decide & how it goes afterward.

You should repost this question in 'seeking a doctor', you will get better response. Good luck!
