Lots o' different topics floating around this discussion board regarding all kinds of "alternative" approaches to treating Lyme. Wondering if it is possible to distill it into one discussion. Perhaps too huge, but here goes, here are the questions!
1. What nutritional/supplement treatments are you undertaking? a. Names b. dosages c. Frequency d. Length of time
2. What other treatments (such as rife) are you or have you tried?
3. Are you undergoing any detoxification or chelation process, and if so, what?
4. Have you done these under the guidance of a professional, on your own, or at the recommendation of a layperson (such as someone here on lymenet)?
Inquiring minds wanna know! (I would submit my own but it's pretty lame at this point... I'm still gathering information.)

I use dto have sinus problems about 6 years ago and starte dto take SinuHealth by Rainbow Lights. I was taking 2 a day, one with breakfast and one with lunch. I did this for about 4 years everyday. Then I found that my sinus were getting better so I stopped about 2 years ago. I am now thinking that the combinations of herbs in this may have had an effect on the LD. A good effect that is. I started to take them agian a few weeks ago for the LD and I have been feeling better. Well it is just my opinion and I have no proof. All I know is that I didn't have any lyme until after I stopped taking it and I have spent lots of time in the woods for the past 25 years. Then agian I could be totally wrong about this.

When considering herbal / nutritional / adjunct methods, because lyme is so very complex & unique, as are possible coinfections:
if at all possible - because each person & each case is different - it's best to consult with an ILADS-educated LL ND (lyme literate naturopathic doctor) (or similar) who has completed four years of post-graduate medical education in the field of herbal and nutritional medicine -
- and someone who is current with ILADS' research & presentations, past and present, and has completed the ILADS Physician Training Program (see: www.ilads.org )
so they really know all they can about the science of lyme . . . how lyme (& other TBD) act and what we can do about that in various ways.
Many LL NDs incorporate antibiotics (depending upon the licensing laws in their state). Some LLMDs and LL NDs have good working relationships.
When possible, it's great to have both a LLMD and LL ND and even better when they have a long-standing professional relationship.
Herbal Safety considerations & reference books; etc.
Links to many articles and books by holistic-minded LL doctors of various degrees who all have this basic approach in common:
Understanding of the importance of addressing the infection(s) fully head-on with specific measures from all corners of medicine;
knowing which supplements have direct impact, which are only support and which are both.
You can compare and contrast many approaches with links to articles, books, methods . . .
BODY WORK methods / links (and why anyone who works on your spine MUST be LL to the degree they at least know to never suddenly twist neck or spine. Never. Ever. And that we should never be advised to do neck / head / shoulder stands.) -

- Well, I swear . . . I did not drag this up but don't know HOW I stumbled upon it. I usually never go off of page one in either medical or general.
And, wondering if maybe the poster had a recent post, I took a look back for some background and then landed on this . . . no. Last post for person who started this thread
and for the person posting just before me was 2004.
I have no idea how I landed on it but will remember to look at the DATES before I waste my time.
