I like to know who is out their working with Lyme.

I`am a landscaper and I got Lyme while working obout 3years ago.

though it did not hit me till june/2003 when I got so sick and my joints started to hurt so bad and my feet and knee just started to slow me down.

that when I started to look for medical attention.

know I went to work this year and had a terrible time doing the job, with my joints hurting and the rib pains

but the longer I work the longer it take the pain to hit me even though the first 2weeks I was in hell!

I have no choice I got finecial obligation like my mortgage and the doctor I was seeing did not beleive I had Lyme even though I tested positiv for the antabodies, the only test of many. all the other were neg

I had to stop working becouse I went to the hospital with chest pain and had to stay home for a few day ,when I went back the pain in my ribs and feet,knee was so I had to quit.

now I`am not working but the guy I was working for want me to go back, can I do the job with the pain medication the LDMD gave me or will the Lyme get worst.

can sombody tell me

Due to my work not being very physical, I have been able to work all the way through. The cognitive problems I was having made it hard but I got by until I was better. The worst of the physical pain was after I started treatment and was herxing. Sometimes this can be controlled to some degree by starting gradually on antibiotics.
During that period, even slight exertion would put me to bed for a day or two. I am so muuch better now, I'm building stone walls on my three acres.
In my opinion, it might be better to try to get a job that is not so physical as direct landscapre work. However, I recognise that may not be easy to arrange.
If you pursue aggressive treatment, it seems probable to me that you will be much improved in a few months. Can you get help with the obligations between now and then? For example, sometimes a roommate can help defray expenses.

Hi david no that is not an option for becouse I am married but I have a rental unit, that I just rent it out that wiil help me out with the mortgage.

I been on med for only 1week and the pain med seem to ease the pain in my joints.

my wife work at the corner stor and does not make to much money

The rental unit wil help. That's good. Are you experienced enough at landscape to supervise a crew so you don't have to do so much heavy work? Alternately, could yo get a job at a plant nursery or something like that?
My concern is that to much heavy work, too soon, could impede your recovery. How you will be feeling will probably be influenced by what medication and how much of it/them you are on. On the flip side, since you have been ill several years it's probably going to take aggresive treatmetn to get you feeling good again.
I wish I knew what else to suggest. Since you were bitten at work, is workman's comp a possibility?
