Thanks for responding.
Ebbyban, thank you for giving me a good talking-to! :-) I was in grave danger of falling into that trap of thinking the world revolves around me and my health issues (of course it does, but I have to let up on my poor husband a little!). You're so right when you say that we fare better by nurturing our social life instead of killing it. There is a risk of retreating into isolation, which is the worst thing for health. A little healthy solitude is good, but any excesses are damaging. Thanks for making me see the other face of my situation.

Hi Janette

I'm sooo glad I was able to help!! I use to be on this board all of the time and it saved my life. It's always easier to get advise or information from somebody that has been there.

Now I am a lurker ( I check the boards everyday) Every once in awhile I will post if I feel I can help or add something.
