i just stopped my abx about 4 days ago but i am still tired and my mouth is constantly dry.

i am going to ask my doctor for diflucan for the yeast..since i think that is most of my problem...do i still need to take probiotics if not on abx?

I was told by my LLMD to continue with probiotics for at least 2 months following
abx therapy. Hope this helps!

amy, definitely continue the probiotics and treat for yeast. I've had some of my worst yeast problems after stopping abx.

This would also be a good time to do at least a liver/kidney cleanse. I felt much better when I did this during my last abx break. Our health store carries a full body cleanse product with a 2 week protocol; I can't remember the name of the company, sorry, but it's a reputable one. If you have a good health store near by you can talk to someone knowlegeable there.

Just a helpful hint. Probiotics at higher doses for atleast 3 months after abx and at lower doses for life.

were you on IV therapy? If so how long? How do you feel? Just curious if you were old timer of lyme or just bitten on oral abx.
Definately take your probiotics for a while after stopping. It takes months from what I have been told for GI system to balance out.
