my ears feel all stuffy or something and my neck feels like it is gonna explode. I hope I don't have swollen lymphs or something. I have been breaking out in a sweat. I have a horrible headache. I haven't recently done any infusions. i did one last night. wth is going on haha?

Make sure you keep a check on your temp. Since you have a picc, anything over 100.5 should be reported. Also, watch for chills. If you get chills, you could have sepsis.

Read through the info the clinic gave you about what to watch for, and if you develop any of those symptoms, call the doc immediately. Don't wait. The printed info they give out is pretty clear. If in doubt at all, go ahead and call to talk with whoever is on call. That is what they are there for.

I developed sepsis with my picc. Symptoms were fever of about 101 and severe shaking chills. Hard chills. Was scary.

Keep us posted on what happens so we will know you are OK.

I just checked it... it is slightly elevated. but that is common it seems for me. it is 99.2

I am on zithromax and clindamycin... maybe I am having a herx. I really hope so. the doc said i would be having one within a few wekks of this... I am starting to notice an emerging pattern with all of this. it seems as if i am on a 4 week cycle of where I have one of these flare ups. the only reason i have noticed this is becuz my flagyl week starts tomorrow and I felt crappy b4 my last flagyl week and the one b4 that
