ugh my memory is shot to sh*t and now it is gonna effect my grades tomorrow, because yeah I lost my lab manual and now I can't rewrite my lab notebook for tomorrow. so either I am gonna have to buy another lab manual tomorrow which is very expensive in the morning at 9 am (lab is at 12:30 pm) and skip my class tomorrow to do it, just for me to do my lab notebook and end up finding it out i left it in one of my classes or i am gonna just have to half ass do my lab notebook this morning which is like 30% of my grade and hope it is acceptable. i don't know why this crap has to happen to me. i am freaking stressed out as it is

Not good.

Hang in there!

Yes I have done stuff like that, lost major report and had to do it all over. Are you in summer school? If you are on a full time schedule I would shift gears and try to lighten my load. Lyme and herxing is a full time load and then add life, school, etc.. I had those bad neck aches, on the couch for two weeks with ice,etc.. So, if you can remember this treatment requires rest,in body and mind.Flagyl will make things crazy, really gets your mind wound up. If you can,lay low, be kind to yourself allow healing time, this healing is rough, but you will start seeing clear days ahead.Just takes time and patience.

I understand exactly where you are coming from! When shopping a few years ago, I left all the bags of new goodies at the mall! It seems tough to lose more than 10 bags, right? Well, it wasn't tough for me!

Hang in there!
Your memory will start to improve as your lyme treatment takes effect against the keets. In the meantime I recommend POST IT NOTES!

I am so sorry you lost something as important as that. I can relate--I loose everything. I can never get out of the house on time because I am looking for my keys, purse or what ever else I need.

I have done some preventive things like make a hook for my purse and keys and threaten everyone in my home with bodily harm if they move them.

It must be hard to be in school with this--I went to ultrasound school at age 38 in 1998-99 and was sick with cfs and endometrisosis, and fibro and a host of other problems. I have just been diagnosed with lyme three months or so ago--but from the time line looks like I have had it for about 15-16 years from my backpacking days in the Northeast. I was always forgettig something for school which was not good, mine was over 3 hours from my home near the LA area in CA.

I hope things work out for you hang in there

Cathy

Just saw this was posted yesterday but how I can relate--

I lose everything even tho' I KNOW I know where I put it.

What about confusion and mix-ups ? When my brain is in China and I am here at home, I can do the damn craziest things.

Last night I put 3cc's of my dogs potent eyedrops down his throat---thought it was his mange medicine. The top screws off on both bottles.

This is embarrassing but I can hardly remember my own meds much less my animals.

Try to write everything down but forget to do it or get it mixed up.

No-dog didn't die. Emer. service said to watch him-I did-then forgot about him--when I remembered--couldn't find him ahywhere--got panic attack--just knew he had picked out a place to die.

He finally appeared but from where I couldn't figure out. He usually stays by my side 24/7.

Got sick but was ok.

I could write pages on the insanity but maybe you all know.

Brain was perking for awhile but relapsed yesterday.

Oh-the trials of this dreadful disease.

Chocolat
