haha although this wasn't specifically invented for neurolyme patients and I guess the real best invention ever would be the cure for lyme (haha but anyway), but PDAs are AWESOME! yeah without it I would forget EVERYTHING! it reminds me to take my meds, important test dates, doc appointments, birthdays, etc etc. I put everyone's phone number in it. I keep track of my gas mileage, fishing records, shopping list, finances, diet and exercise!!! a must have for neurolyme patients with horrible memory or any other absent-minded person. u can get them for fairly cheap.

my favorite thing about it is the calorie tracker i have in it (although I haven't really been using it much). it has a list of thousands of common food items. all you have to do is put in the amount that u eat of that item and it automatically calculates teh calories, carbs, fat grams, protein, fiber, etc etc. and u can easily add more items to the list to choose from... you can calculate ur BMI, BMR, your body fat (although it is somewhat archaic), keep track of blood pressure, calculate how many calories u need to cut back to lose a certain amount of weight by a certain time based on ur BMR. it is a great weight loss tool. a much better bargain than those calorie calculators I see around walmart and on infomercials.

although i was given a more expensive one for x-mas, they have very cheap ones for under 100 dollars. mine is a palm tungsten e, but there are better third party pda's. palm is somewhat expensive. I would recommend the sony clie series. it is a great bargain. the palm zire is very cheap... I believe $60 or less if u get it from ebay.

Sounds great,
but I'm afraid I'd forget how to make it work.

For those who haven't discovered it yet, www.buy.com has great prices on this and any other electronic devices.

I am in no way affiliated with www.buy.com , I just shop there for the best prices.
