I have been herxing big time this week, mainly HEADACHES.

I took some pain meds. got my trusty ice pack and tried to sleep it off.Well, in the middle of the night I woke up and ouch, my head was even worse.

Well, my ice pack was hot,so I went to the freezer for a bag of peas..theses work great if they are wrapped in a towel.

I woke up this AM with strawberry juice running down my face,on my arm,all over the pillow....I picked out the wrong bag in the middle of the night and grabbed anything cold...At least I got a good laugh from this.

I know this sounds so stupid but anything to laugh about when you herx helps.

P.S. The headache did go away..YEAH.Maybe strawberries do help better! Take care

Having a sense of humor can really help us through the difficult times.

Glad the strawberries worked.
Hope you're feeling better now & can enjoy the weekend.

Hi 3Great Kids,

Thanks for your reply to my "herxing!" So you're the one who grabbed the strawberries in the middle of the night. I loved that. You're so right about a sense of humor. When I asked God many years ago for more of a sense of humor, He sent me my husband! I haven't been the same since.

I have a doctor who specializes in Lyme and I had to wait six weeks to get an appointment with him.

I do hope you continue to get better every day and thanks for the support. I so needed to hear from someone who knows!
