Well, I could not stand it! I had to tell someone.
My hubby just called and woke me up. Conversation started out like any other. Then he finally told me he and his guys that went out last night were hit. No one is critical. One was flown to Germany. Ofcourse he could not tell me any names so I will see as the day unfolds.
He said he got a little shrapnel in his leg, and his butt is realy sore!
WOW! That is so AWESOME!! GOD is sure taking care of our guys.
He said his vehicle will not be going out tonight, but he will, just kinda slow.

How frightening! I'm so glad he is basically OK. I'm sure he is concerned about his fellow soldiers. We'll continue to pray over here!

So glad you had the chance to talk with your Hubby.
Every service, our church prays for all those in the armed services.

We will continue to pray for his safety and the safety of all others serving this great country of ours.
They are doing a wonderful job.

So glad to hear that your husband is safe and was able to contact you.

My brother-in-law, a medic, just returned from a year in the middle east. His wife worried herself to death while he was gone. The phone calls, like you described, kept her going.

We are very thankful for the men and women fighting so hard for us and the families that allowed them to do so.

We will continue to pray for a safe and swift homecoming!

Well, I was not expecting to get a "notification" call from the military yesterday for a no-stich, patch you up, and out on duty the next night.

My heart kinda jumped up when the guy called me. Even though I had already recieved a call from my husband, and I knew about it before hand. They aer just following precedure.

My heart goes out to the ones that do not get a call before the military calls them. However if they were KIA, you do not get a pnone call, you will get a visit. So, I guess they can call me all they want.

As long as I hear my honey on the phone and he is able to dial and talk, then I am ok with whatever is going on. I think he is kinda messed up about seeing his gunner being wounded. He told me that he patched him up. I know this combat stress is coming. I did not think it would be happening to my sweetie!

So glad your hubby is okay!!!

My dad was in the Army for 20 years, Korea and Vietnam. As an Army Brat I remember the waiting was the hardest part.

Luckily with today's technology the families of these brave men and women are able to keep in closer contact with one another.

I will continue to pray for your husband and all our men and women in the military. May God watch over them and bring them home safely.
