Hang in there, your med. is doing its'job and from the sound of it BIG time.

Expect this to happen..I have been herxing off and on now over a year.Everytime my meds. are changed...whammo! Herx!!

so, I quess with this stuff..time,time, patience and willpower will pull you thru...so will the fine folks here at Lymenet.

I have lived with sunglasses,ice packs,heating pads,gingerale,water,water,dark rooms,peace and quiet when I can(life w/children???)but humor too will help to pull you thru this stuff.

Which include any of your basic Lyme symptoms and some symptoms you may not have experienced before.

As treepetrol said, just about everyone here on antibiotics has experienced on time or another.

Corestar, I sure hope you do call your docs office if the herxing gets too bad for you. For, to go off them, you will not loose ground, but, actually doing so will make the abx work better by you not having to go off them for a month or two, as I did when my herxing got so bad.

A day or a skipped dose or two is so much better in the long run, than, to have to go off the completely for a month or two. If the herxing gets bad, bed bad, then please, by all means, call your docs office and report this to him.

Thanks for your help. I am getting great support from my LLMD. Your tips were good. I have read about pulsing off abx if you need to. I'm in the early stages of antibiotics because of having to wait six weeks to see the doc. I think I may have had Lyme for maybe a year or so. If I hadn't been very lucky I still wouldn't know!
