Did you look into the "needy meds" program that Roche, the company that makes the 'Rocephin' brand of ceftriaxone, puts out? If that's one of the meds that could help you (it's probably better than the animal meds), it might be worth a try.
It was too many hoops for me to jump through, I must admit-- I ended up doing all orals, along with the chinese herbal artimesia, which I found very effective, and orders of magnitude cheaper than the standard pharm stuff. I got the most expensive meds from canada for less than half what they cost here. ( but with the government we have at the moment, that might not be possible anymore- they were trying to eliminate peoples' getting meds from canada last I heard...)
I think one of the ones I used was "The Canadien Drug Store" -Sorry but I can't find the link right now, though. It ought to be findable, though (unless it got snuffed out).
Another possibility is mexico, but there, the quality might be questionable in some places. (--You might do better with the vet stuff...)
Look into whatever's left of the social net for this kind of stuff- I hope you can dig up something. Possibly someone else will be able to supply a website, etc?
Never Give Up!! I wish you the best of luck on it.

Hi Tin,Their are simply no ducks in my area that treat lyme. They play the bouncing patient thing. It's not my job to treat lyme goto this other duck, who sends you to another who sends you on.I spent more in coopayments than the meds and surenges cost me.I have hit the wall in duckland.I have ins., such as it is, but there are no LLMD's here in (cornfield county) or anyhere near here. However there are plenty of farm animal meds.. I have gave up on my past LLMD in Pencilvania. And anyway 450 miles is to far to go to the doc.. MADDOG

Maddog,
I live in ohio to and know just what you mean. I drove four hours to docs in pa.
Check with Ann she has some numbers for a few docs that are in northern part of eastern ohio. Im not sure what part your in.
Were in southcentral.

I haven't tried them but i remember she gave them to me. IF YOU could go to Doc C you wouldnt have to go as often he has me coming in a year but has phone visits every four months which is a little more doable than every month.
