I had Lymes 10 years ago.I wasn't diagnosed for 7 months and then given antibiotics for 2 weeks. The red garter-like ring around my leg disappeared and the doc said I was cured. Could there still be Lymes in my blood?Should I get another blood test?

eilidh,
Do you still have symptoms of Lyme, if so what are they? I didnt think that 2 wks cured lyme that had been present for 7 months, but I could be wrong, Im sure others on here will give their opinions. If you do get tested people on here recommend doing through a lab called Igenex.

Don't know if you saw the responses to your other post, [i]I it gone?[i] or not since you did not reply to your post and let us know that you did (the Post Reply is at the top AND the bottom of this page you are reading.

You were given some links that you should just bookmark and read, study as time permits you.

But, here's the other post you made asking the same thing:

http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/027348.html

Here's the original link for which treepatrol posted the links from. Bookmarking this link maybe easier for you to be able to read and study from time to time:

Again, welcome and come back often for support!!!

BTW, if you had Lyme Disease 10 years ago and weren't diagnosed until after 7 months and was only treated with 2 weeks of antibiotics, I'd bet my only child that you did not rid your body of the disease back then.
