All summer long I felt as thought I was beating Lyme...yet slipping.

I quit chewing tobacco 2 years ago. Have been VERY vigilant in checking my oral cavity for possible sores, etc.

My 2 girls have Lyme, my wife has survived her first full year since being dx'x with 3rd stage breast cancer.

well, you guessed it....I have found VERY suspicious...possibly advanced oral lesions.
(And, they are sore.)

How I could have missed these...I'll never know.

I am going to my Dr and Dentist today.

I am VERY scared right now.

Please say a prayer for me and my family...i don't lnow how we will cope with this also if it is the case.

Trout

Hi Trout,

I'll be thinking of you - hope it turns out OK. Hopefully, there is a benign cause to these lesions. Stress? (considering your circumstances).

Oh Trout,

I am so sorry.

I always read your posts with interest; you contribute so much.

Sometimes it seems the most resourceful, giving and brave are given the heaviest burdens.

Having so many people ill at once IS overwhelming and you have been doing a valiant job of rising to the occasion.

Your tag line on your signature says a lot about you.

I am sending up special prayers for you, your wife and children.

May the loving sanctuary of those around you ease your distresses,

May great peace and wisdom surround you throughout every trial,

May your burdens be made light through the helping hands of many who care.

Please keep us posted on you and your family's welfare.

love,
andie

"Living by Faith"

"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

We are troubled on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair:
persecuted, but not abandoned; cast down, but not destroyed;

Always bearing about in the body the dying of the LordJesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh." 2 Corinthians 4:7-11
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Try not to be anxious Trout, we pray those lesions will be benign and easily treated.
Lord you know the heavy burden this family's been under. Thank you for your care of them, for the friends and family that are there for them as they face so much illness.
In the name of Jesus cover them with your wings of protection preventing any spirit of evil to do them harm. Allow only that which will strengthen them in faith, love and devotion to you. In the name above all names, Jesus.
Thanks Folks,
So much from all of you.
I will be seeing an ENT and my dentist wednesday......
MY MD didn't seem overwhelmed with concern...however, he is VERY good at NOT showing ANY reaction to ANYTHING.
BUT.........he did say he would get on board with a short IV if necessary...along with DR Crist for abx.
He said...still thinking about Marshall Protocol....but agrees that there MUST be a combo of something out there to help me.
At least that was good.
God Blees,
Kent
Kent,
Just saw the post and that it was by you. Sorry to read about this suspicious problem. Well, one more day until you get a specialist who KNOWS what he is doing.
Wishing you/family the best! Hope your wife is doing better w/her meds fighting her courageous battle. My sister fought this disease too.
May God provide you with good news tomorrow as the stress will kill you if you let it. Control what you can, and let God handle everything else. A fellow Iowan, Betty G.
Hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Praise the Lord and pass this cup!
he decided I didn't need any more to carry in my life.
Bless All Of You For Asking Him for me.
The Dentist said....probably a cold sore...
The ENT said....looks like an injury to me...finger nail while flossing maybe?
Anyway...they both said if it is STILL there..then we would take it farther along.
BUT.....better yet....my local Doc said he thought my idea of infection going up between the gum and my tooth sounded reasonable...as does Dr C...as did I for the last 2 YEARS!!!!!
I brought this up to.... the Dentist..he took x-rays, and he confirmed that I had once again hit the nail on the head.
In between two of my molars...I get fillings...and then the food gets stuck inbetween the tooth and its gum....this then forms a bacterial layer while it decays, by the time I figure out that I have something up there and floss it out...I push bacteria into the gum and into the caitated area in the tooth.
I have repeated this at strategic times without being overbearing to EACH of my healthcare providers..now, they don't always remember that I have this..so the next time they hear me say it...they think...you know I've heard of that before.
Well it seems to have worked this time...
The DEntist wants to replace the filling...but, I am going to tell him...nope.
This will be the 5th time that has been done...it is time to call it quits...get it out.
Thanks,
Trout
PS....what a beautiful day in Iowa. (seriously)
Hey,
Thanks you-all.
I called my Dentist...now he agrees with me.
Getting the xray tomorrow..will get to it to the RIGHT oral surgeon. (Gigi)
In fact, I had a flare mup of symptoms yesterday...after he man-handled my cavity with the probe...he stirred things up.
OY!!!!!!
Kent, GREAT to hear your good news; it was not serious. I totally agree to get the tooth pulled out. Happy for you.
Yes, it's great Iowa weather with the colorful trees coming to all their colorful splendor!
Also, thinking and praying for all those in the hurricanes' pathways, and hugs going to them on restarting their lives all over again.
Shocked to hear from weathermen there...they feel this is a start of 25-30 years of continuous hurricanes hitting those areas. Betty G., Iowa
Dear Trout,
I know you'll have an answer soon when you see your dentist. Just a couple of possibilities with the mouth issue: be sure and check on your yeast beasts as they can cause a "thrush" type of bacteria in your mouth. Just a thought......
Just posted a reply that wouldn't go thru'--
The long and short of it was that you and your family will be prayed for unceaseingly starting right now.
May God be with you-His light shine upon all of you now--please Lord--and forever.
If this doesn't go thru'--expect a call!
Fondly,
Chocolat
