I would like to investigate the possibility of sharing a drive from Kansas City, MO Airport to Springfield to see Dr. C.

My new patient appt. is on Nov. 8, at 8am. I'll be flying from Denver, CO on Sunday Nov. 7 and renting a car for the trip. I'll overnight in Spingfield, some hotel nearby the clinic.

If I'm feeling really bad as I do 99.9% of time, my friend will go with me.

So if you have an appointment around that time and would like to save money, please let me know.

Does anyone have experience of buing the airline ticket from Kansas City to Springsfield on the day of travel - just in case I can't make the drive or arrive too late from Denver. Right now the price is couple hundred of dollars, so that's why I plan to drive.

Thanks for any advice how to make the trip afordable and easy on me.

Punkie

punkie,

Hi, I just wondering why are you flying into Kansas City why not fly straight to Springfield?

Althought Springfield might be more expensive then Kansas City or St. Louis.

Also did you check to see if it is cheeper to fly from denver to maybe St. Louis? Either way you go you are looking at a 3 hour drive.

Also have you called the airlines directly?

I get some of the best deals just calling them straight up telling them what I need and why.

Hope you find something.
