Jodie, and for other's who may have missed me being lambasted over in
Seeking a Doctor forum cause I did not have the name of an LLMD closer to the person seeking a doctor in her area, here is what TheCrimeOfLyme posted to me as a response in a new person willing to travel, cause I referred them to my LLMD, Dr. C of MO. Crime, did you not see Dr. C for awhile. I don't know your beef with him, but I see that you have a hard time when anyone posts referrals to him.

Well, CrimeofLyme, Luv2read posted the original post on October 8th...and was searching for an LLMD. You were given plenty of time to chime in 'til six days later.
Believe me I would not have given Luv2read the name of Dr. C of MO, had you, being much closer, given Luv an answer. But, you nor anyone else seemed to be helping when Luv was asking, so I put out one of the only LLMDs that I actually know about.
You know, if some of you guys from PA or OH would even refer to your LLMDs like the patients of Dr. C refer to him in many posts, then, maybe we'd actually know of one in you area. But, alas, I don't even see his/er initials being used.
Why is that? Stop getting your panties in such a wad when all you had to do was come over to this post sometime in the past 6 days and refer Luv to your LLMD.
I, personally do not care who they see as long as they see a real LLMD...as a matter of fact, I actually think that Dr. C of MO is taking on too many patients. So, we can keep him to ourselves and, hopefully, all you people from OH and PA, will just stay on the Eastern side of the Mississippi River.
Will that work for you, Crime? Let me know something, ok? My addy is my "handle" here on LymeNet, and found @sbcglobal.net to give me a list of the great LLMDs you have East of the Mississippi. I'll be sure to start referring folks to them.
As I see that it makes a difference to you to whom we post referrals...don't want to step on anyones toes.
Sorry, Luv2read, we normally do not act so childish...guess Crime needs to just unwind.

Im so so sorry and I hate to inform you that I do not put up with YOUR childish tactics and your way of "expressing yourself" and I am the one being childish? Do you really want me to post a topic titled "How many people has Rosesisland offended, hurt, belittled or called names? "
Oh excuse me, you must not remember when I was new here calling me an idiot, correct? You must not remember the people you are consistently mean to. Solsearcher was the latest, was she not. Hmm, seen HER around? I bet you havent, yes, Rosemary?
I dont put up with your chit, I never did and I never will. So in all honesty, I guess that means that the best thing for you to do would be to keep your mouth off of me, correct?
Oh, Im sorry, are you herxing? Maybe that is why Ineed to unwind and people can run to your defense? Yes? Bite me.
You want to harp on me for not being on here on the 2nd? You want to come herx for me? You want to come take care of my kids for me? How about go grocery shoppoing? Im sorry does the pain in your fingers stop that from happening? Last I checked, you didnt have neuro lyme so stop using HERXING as an Excuse to YOUR BS.
Now havent said that and cutting through your pis& and vinegar that has so often times just made me giggle,
This post did not list a state on it. Oh, sorry Luv2Read, but had you caught Rosemary on one of her really "herxy"days, she would have CUSSED YOU OUT for not leaving a state.
Thus, I did not open it. Until today. Until it was brought to my attention.
You, Rose, USED to mention "make sure you get a doctor that is Ilads- you ARE aware that Dr. C is not, correct?" I am assuming so, considering you no longer use THAT tactic.
Then you say Dr. C has too many patients? Thats 80 percent of the reason why I left him. Oh, and I can count more. But so what. Who cares. Hes good for other people.
This isnt about Dr. C Rosemary. Dont say its about herxing. It never was. Its about YOU BEING RUDE
AND I DONT , NEVER HAVE AND WILL NOT eat your chit.
I sit behind these scenes every day helping people. You want me to make a post aobut htat ALSO? Want me to see how many replies I may get on that?
Instead of you typing your fingers into the vacinity of offending everyone you COME IN CONTACT WITH
WHY DONT YOU TRY BEING NICE? Im not allowed to be P8ssed off after listening to your chit for TWO YEARS REGARDING and NOT regarding this post?
yeah bite me.
OH and you can email me anytime, sweetheart.
NO as to Luv:
There is a Dr. S right over the border from you in OHIO. Hey, its up to you who you see, but as I stated
I did not have your email address and still do not see it here. As rosemary would say though
Why dont you do yourself and us a favor, and click on that little prefernce tab, and insert your little email address and then we will all be happy.
Good enough?
Why, you have a nice day. Im gonna go see if I can get muh momma to take a peek at this post. ROFL

Oh, I also, of course, just wanted to mention that I know darn well you have a list of LLMDs Rosemary. It would be very simple for you to REFER people out to them. You check ILADS often, failed to miss
the doctors on there? I guess so. And ya wonder why Dr. C has too many patients? Um, duh?
Stay out of my way and I will stay out of yours. I dont like ya, my mother doesnt like ya, heck, my cat has found you offensive.
And yes, luv2read.. I am so childish indeed. in fact, there is a little icon up on the top of your screen
that says "search" Use that, type in Rosesisland and just go on ahead and read some things from her, KK? Shes so nice, and such a sweetheart. She will help anyone in need. I have never heard her be rude,
or have a bad day, or be defensive, or stubborn, or hateful.
Nope, not our sweeet, sweet Rosemary!

Rather than trying to help people here seeking help, I've spent the entire morning, 4.5 hours worth, going back and re-reading through your first posts, where you said that I called you an idiot, not once, but, twice. I could not find those posts, but, I did come across these early replies I made back to you in response to some of your earlier posts.

Pushing this back up...I answered your post over in Medical Questions.
Sounds as if you've had a very bad week and I believe this next one will be better.
I'm gonna look now for a resource for Zoloft for you.

Jodie, it appears that your gram has been through enough and that ID doc is in your corner on getting to the root of the bacteria that is obviously causing her problems.
Reaction to abx? Yeah, how about a Herx-heimer reaction?
My thoughts are with you as you go through this trauma.

1. Your dose of doxy is by no means enough to kill lyme disease.
2. Your doctor is a nut.
3. Lyme IS A DISEASEEEEEEEEEE.. it does not go "away"it just goes into remission. Thus, it is always with you. Thus, if you have the bacteria, you will always have the bacteria, which means yes it CAN cause you symptoms for as long as it wants to! ( especially when there are such nice doctors such as yours) LOL
4. You are NOT nuts. Well, maybe!! LOL.. I know I am.
5. Your symptoms are the same ones I have. I have lyme. My regular doctor is an idiot.
6. You need a LLMD.. lyme literate medical doctor.. someone who specializes Forget asking yoru family doctor, one of us will send you the list.
7. You're gonna get better!!!! Right as soon as you get to a LLMD. In my opinion, there is no other way.
I am soooooooooo tired right now... I would have wrote more instead of step by steps!
Stick with us here. I didnt look, where are you from?
Take care of you! Your Primary care needs to stick to primary kindsa things.. and let the lyme up to the big boys. ;o)
Be good! Read those links!

In the above link, I apologized, not once, but, twice, and you still attacked me on the subject that I apologized about.

WOW!!!! A real LLMD!
The appointment went GREAT! It took me all but a whole two seconds to like Dr. C. His secretary wasnt in the office yet when I got there, and he said what the hay, and took me in anyway.
The first thing he did was start digging through and reading ALL my files I brought and commenting on mostly ALL of them.
When he seen my GI records, he told me he was just at a conference where they discussed lyme affects on the GI and that I really had all the inflammation in there that was more than likely casued by lyme and reversible.
He was not impressed at all by the statement that I was diagnosed with "its all in your head". He told me the same philosophy I have always carried- "if a person presents with multiple symptoms, WHY would you diagnose them with multiple disorders when truly it is only coming from one thing?" But he did tell me about Lyme soup LOL...
Where when you have lyme, you probably have other things going on such as candida ( which I do) metals, etc.
He reviewed EVERYTHING and explained everything to me. He fell flat in love with my daughter ( she is such a little flirt) IN the middle of him talking, she was playing with his shirt, then poking him, then asking for candy and he was NOT the slightest bit annoyed. At one point, I stomped my foot, and I think he thought I was doing that at my daughter- but I wasnt hehehe.. I was having shooters in my foot.
He joked when he looked at my MRI and said "well at least you can say you have a brrain". My look was sullen and the only thing I could muster out was "Im herxing". He understood.
On the downside, he reviewed all of my information and I mean.. almost ten years of medical files and concluded that more than likely, I was born with lyme. He commented on the pneumonia I had at age 5 ( anyone with pneumonia knows it should scar your lungs). I have no evidence of pneumonia on my lungs and he said "it was probably lyme".
Medicine wise, the first thing that ticked him off was that I wasnt being treated for babesia. Not only does he feel that I DO have this, but he said "why take a negative to really mean negative, all it would do is keep me up at night wondering if that was a false negative" He put me on ummm
My scripts are in the car.. Clindamycin and Quinine I think.
He was going to change my base abx to Doxycycline , but when he realized I do really well on Amoxicillin, he said nevermind, lets keep amoxicillin. However, I left with a script for Cefaclor. I was herxing and barely UNintentionally paying any attention to him, so I dont htink I am on Amox anymore, but he did say stay on it.
I will have to call and get that straight hehe.
He gave me all kinds of things to read through which i will after I sleep. He took away the diflucan and gave me nystatin instead ( thank GOD)
He assured me that this will resolve. He said if he cant nail it with these current medications, he would seriously consider IV claforan and then if that doesnt work, more hormone therapy things.
I did get my test slips for hormones, metals and there is somehtign else, but I forget.
He was reassuring. He told me I will get better. He said he cannot make any promises but that if one thing doesnt work, we simply move to another.
He does not need to see me for a year. He did not see me when I was at my lowest low with lyme ( and trust me, amoxy brought me VERY far in four months) but he said I seem to manage well and he doesnt want me comign back in the winter, so we decided on a year and phone consults every four months. He said if I ever need him sooner, dont hesitate. He said Lymetoo just comes to his office
to annoy him from time to time. KIDDING! LOL he said hi!!!
I DID take Jon with me instead of Connie, my sister. I upped and down that decision. Connie: no money, no patience, smokes like a dragon, no a/c in car. LOL jon... a/c in car and money that I gladly took every last bit from hiim then shipped him on his way, agian.
The lamplighter was tragic. They put me in the wrong room twice. After the second time, I went downstairs adn freaked. I ordered, charged and paid for A KING SUITE, with frid and microwave and all kinds of other do dads. The first room was a queen, single bed.
The second one was double queen, no frid and microwave. My next room is free , they put me in the system.
He said if I HAVE babesia, and he isnt taking any chances that I do or dont, that when I take those meds, I WILL KNOW IT. He said otherwise, I should be pretty O.K.
And he works with you and your money, etc. He didnt ask me to pay for anything, or get tests I did not want. I took all the tests though. He told Jon to his face " and you will do all the leg work FOR her and get these done properly and right away". he is saving me 1400.00 by me using me medicare but Im on a time limit, I only have that for a few more weeks.
In the interim, I just got home. It took us 26 HOURS to get home . We stopped and ate, I spent Jons money like crazy at Antique stores and Russel Stover candies shops hehehe and a few factory places.
Im going to get some sleep then go get my scripts and call Dr.C on the amoxy part if he is in today .
Talk to you all laters!
ANyone know about that Clindamycin/Quinine regime? Gonna kick my butt??? I think he added clafor to that one??
Thanks!

were you not saying you liked Dr. C, oh, but, now you do not, I see

And, COL, continued on to say:

Hey,
I slept. Doesnt matter, still herxing. BUT, at least he explained to me why it is dangerous to keep taking abx when herxing and basically, why it is just unecesssary.
I forgot to ask him how long I should skip? Lymetoo, Rosemary??? Two days, three days? Or just until it subsides?
I skipped the whole time down there and went to the basspro shop yesterday. I about passed out- god that heat and something about the bass pro shop I could NOT tolerate. I did fine in the antique shops.. hmmm LOL
Rosemary- thanks for that link to Roomsavers. YOu would have laughed your azz off if you seen what I did. At the last minute, I was trying to print out some of those coupons and I was writing down motel/hotel phone numbers.
I was going so fast, my pencil flipped out of my hand and landed directly IN MY PRINTER. I couldnt get it out. I had that sucker upside down, tweezers down in there, you name it, it was perfectly STUCK.
Needless to say, I didnt get ANYTHING printed and had to hand write my notes to Dr. C. He rolled.
Lymetoo I missed you darnit! When i called, your cell phone was off.
I was standing outside of that basspro shop calling Lymetoo and leaving a message and this HUGE azz I have no clue what kind of bug was chasing me. If my voice was all stuttery, thats why.. I was fending off evil. LOL ( plus herxing really hard)
By the way, I LOVE Missouri. I want to move there. Lots of good looking guys too LOL. hehe
The mosquitoes are VERY talented. Just thought I would mention this for chits and giggles. I wore bell bottom jeans ( im weird, most of my pants are bell bottoms)
Wouldnt you know, on one of the stops, those little suckers managed to FIND the bottom of my bellbottoms, fly UP my legs, and bite me on both my left and right knee? Talk about talent. Could you hear the mosquitoes if they ccould talk?
You get the right Pap, I'll get the left , buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
My ears got sooooooo clogged on the way down, I secretly wished for a mini plunger. They let up when I hit St. Louis ( and got lost lol) and all this fluttering went out of my ears. I lost air.. hehehee.
The kids were SUCH troopers. All that time in the car, they were excellent. I did have to pull over on the way home to get some sleep and stretch. My knees started to kill me so bad I was balling.
I fell asleep and lo and behold, fifteen minutes after i fell asleep, my lil lymmie richy stuck this bunny in my ear that giggles. I FLEW UP, smacked my head and about had a heart attack. Of course, he thought that was funny.
The little guy didnt sleep the whole way home! He's getting lots of rest now though.
Lymetoo, did you actually move out of Missouri? I thought you did and Dr. C. asked me how you were, I said moving to texas. He was like NO WAY, THIS IS THEIR LIFE, she cant be moving, she didnt tell me, she wouldnt leave here, this is her lifeline.
His father is superior court judge down there, so he was talking to me about him since I am a paralegal. Im jealous!
I did NOT ask him any questions. I missed the que so to speak. He stood there and said "any questions, none are too stupid, I tell all my patients that". I didnt get it, my lyme brain didnt let it sink it. Half way home I realized that was when I should have asked questions HEHE.
Ok sooo Im overly excited. First time me and all three of my kids been on a vacation so to speak. I need more sleep and medicine.
See you all laters.

You go, girl...I admire your dedication...please go softly on me...for I really mean no harm in some of my posts and do try and apologize when I am wrong...
Here's hoping that there are no problems on your watch...
Rosemary

Note on this post, I did apologize even though the post was not directed at me:

http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/Forum3/HTML/008683.html

I checked through all of your earlier posts from your first in June through August when you became a Moderator in August 2003. I didn't see one time where I called you an idiot. Checking through those first posts, I did see where you thanked me not once, but, many times as I was responding to your posts.

The links below, well, they are links where you started a post and NEVER responded or acknowledged that people that posted to you. Not only did you do this a couple of time, but, as you can see, many times. Is that not rude? These posts were just from June 2003 through August 2003.

On the following post in October 2003, you even asked for my help...I can't remember if I saw this post and emailed you or not, but, you were actually asking me for my help and this was ``supposedly'' after I had insulted you? It doesn't make sense to me. I search through many, many of your first posts and never, once, did I see where I called you an idiot. I did use the word in one post, but, that was about someone or something else, and not you....AND, if you would note, I did apologize for that misunderstanding.

Guess I can now spend my mornings doing something else, for I don't want to ruffle anyone's feathers by posting to them something someone else may not like. Hey Crime, what wrong with giving a person Seeking a Doctor plenty of options. I didn't realize that not doing so was more important. OH, and BTW, where is this list I'm supposed to have? I would think that a person would like more options than just one. I do refer folks from Texas, two different LLMDs that I am familiar with, but, alas, I do not have any from OH or PA.

I shall retreat now and you can take up all my slack since I don't posts as you want me to anyway.
I am not sorry one I-O-da, that I have tried to help people here, but, I see that me posting is upsetting so many, I'll just stop...and, btw, sol searcher just posted yesterday and I look at all her posts for the past several months and I saw NOTHING that I said to her that would warrant an apology. But, if she thinks I owe her one, then, sol searcher, I sincerely apologize if I said anything that upset you.

At least I can say that I don't spend part of my LymeNet time emailing individuals gossiping about other posters...that's just the way I am.

Good Bye!!!!

Rosemary here, I edited to make more sense of what I posted cause where I had that section, it looked like Crime wrote it instead of me.

LOL, knew there must be a reason I backed off on coming by Lymenet. Guess this is it.

Hat's off to anyone who can get through all this gibberish. And make any sense of it. I know I can't. Must be Lyme-brain or something.

Just sorry anyone who comes by here for "help" has to see it.

BLah blah blah, yawn yawn yawn.

Where did I say my posting was about Dr. C? I believe I even say try not to focus on that.

By the way, you have my email, use it.
Or, we could continue to do this. Im quite confused on why you posted some of my really nice posts to newbies, but thanks for the boost!

Sorry, I dont have a repitore for flying off on people. You do.

Oh and one more thing- about your lying about me hmm, what was the wording "talking in emails and gossiping about other members". Ok,Im game, who am I talking to and what about? I mean, actually rosemary, ARE you bored yet? and...

out of small curiosity.. if you JUST KNOW that I sit around and I write all this "gossipy stuff" about Lymenet members, wouldnt that mean that YOU had to be gossiping with SOMEONE ELSE , about ME, to KNOW that?

Childish you say? Hmpf, someone should sit down and wonder how long it took them to post this post, hmm?

This is so silly.

And I am not wasting my time reading the ranting and raving.

LymeNet is to put people in touch with others with Lyme. But it is not meant to be the whole of people's lives.

You just proved one of your own examples- how everyone must follow YOUR RULES.

Nah.

It was SoSoSore by the way, there was also a recipe thrown in there, and I could go on, but I wont.

I didn't read all this posts but last few times I have noticed conflict on this site, I thought we need to redirect all this wasted energy and time towards fighting lyme.

I think it is time we regroup and come up with a plan to change things.

I know the LDA is trying to change the common belief that if you test negative on the standard serology test..you don't have lyme disease.

I think that would be a good start.

I would like to see a plan of attack on educating the medical field and the public regarding this matter.

Perhaps we could send start a post for those lyme patients who have spent the time to write a cover letter and send out information on lyme to doctor's and perhaps what town these doctor's are practicing in.

We have enough trouble with the medical field. We don't need to be fighting amongst ourselves.

We need to get the medical field involved with the solution more just as Christopher Reeves did.

Each one of us can make a difference.

I am currently waiting to get my copies of the special issue of lyme times. When I get them, I plan on sending them out to doctors who showed an interest in learning more.

It is a great resource.

Yup, I agree Kam. We should all HELP each other, and try to stay away when we are having a bad day.

My number is listed in General for new folks for help. I hope it can stay there and gets pushed up often as well as I will push it up.

Why was this posted here...or at all?

Deal with these kinds of things on your own time. There's no need to make yourself or anyone else look bad. This is not 'general support' of anything.

Let's get back to the exchange of help, support, and information.

Listen you guys, it is obvious why Roses posted this!

She was hurt by the way she was so blatantly attacked on someone elses post for answering about seeking a doctor. Was that a good thing, no it was not.

She will not communicate with someone per email for reasons that I understand. COL could have emailed her attack, but no, she did not.

NOW>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I have had enough and the rest of us too, let's get on with what we are here for. This should be the end of this post!!

I think we should arm wrestle for it.

But seriously, I think this should have been posted in the "Put up your dukes" section...oh, wait we don't have one.
