I'm sorry about the bad needle. Like the shots aren't hard enough.
I think I remember you are taking bicillin shots? How many total do you have to take and how often do you take them? I think you have posted this before but I am too lyme lame to go back and find it.
Again, sounds like the whole ordeal took a lot out of you. Sorry.

I had that happen once. The needle had no point at all, just a piece of tubing with a square end!

A little pointer: If you look at a needle under a microscope after it has pierced the rubber stopper to draw up the medicine, it is noticeably dull. Sometimes the tip bends over.

The next time you buy supplies get an extra box of needles so you can put on a new one to give the injection after drawing up the med. There is a noticable difference in comfort.

1 1/2 inch is the common length for IM injections given there. If you don't have much body fat 1" will reach the muscle, but too shallow can cause more soreness. You might find that you want more than one size.

Hi, Thamks everyone!! I use a one inch needle,I have very low body fat right now,so it is ok. I actually hit bone with a one inch needle, got to close to my hip one time. I am still 15 pounds less than last year at this time. I might use a needle just to poke the bottle and then use a new needle on the surrenge. Yep that sounds likely ,I can order more lator, provided my big mouth hasent caused the closing of the loop hole. MADDOG
