Congratulations. I took about 35 or 40 of those suckers before I switched meds. I have a big empty Listerine bottle full of all of the used syringes. It looks pretty scary.

How did you arrive at # 48 shots? I musta missed that part.
I have done at least 300, and still do from time to time.
You might want to consult with yourself and leave your treatment open ended, you know continue until you are sy free for two months...btw are you doing well? any side affects? feeling better?
You get the bravery medal IMO...

Once Bitten, you mean you have actually had 300 of these shots??? OUCH!! The ILADS guidelines said that 6 months treatment with benzathine penn. could be compaired to a sifilus cure,or something like that. So 6 months is 24 weeks at one shot a week. But while using vet. penn.I doubled the dose to two a week,or 48 shots = 6 months. MADDOG

Hi Heather,I can't get to my LLMD's now. It is to late in the year and I don't have the bucks anyway. I have to treat myself, and am using benzathine pennicilan deep intramuscular shots. They work better than anything I have had in years. Clearing up the brain fog is the biggest thing, and allso eyesight, and I don't have the rage problem near as much. MADDOG P.S. Going to that LLMD was a camping trip. I would stay at Punderson state park . And Hermitage Penn was just across the state line from there. I would be sleeping in the back of my old truck ,while snow pellets were bouncing off of the camper shell. BBRRRRR!!!!! All the while having the Babbs chills allso. BBRRRRRR!!!

Hey MADDOG,

Glad you are doing so well on Bicillin and tolerating the shots well.

My friend, who doesn't post on here anymore as she's got her life back, has been on Bicillin for about 18 months I believe. She is still on them. She is well, but her Lyme test still positive and CD57 still quite low.

So, I think that in some cases it is an open-ended thing.

I think Borrelia, unfortunately, are more complex than Syphilis and require more treatment also.

Great going MadDog.

Any improvement? Are the hrexes still bad?

How come you are only doing 2 a week. I took 3 a week. Oh, maybe the units are higher in what you ae doing.

And I certainly felt like an old mare with her ears pinned flat back expecting that bicillin shot!

Keep up the good work. Did you find someone to give it to you or are you still doing it by yourself?
