HI THERE...
NEXT WEEK I'LL BE STARTING ROCEPHIN I.V., AND AM ANXIOUS. CURRENTLY HERXING (SEVERE DIZZINESS) FROM ORAL ANTIBIOTIC, AND HAVE GONE OFF. I'M TAKING MANY NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS, INCUDING:
FISH OIL, COQ10, MULTI-VIT. PRO-BIOTICS, AGIMMUNE, MILK THISTLE, CALCIUM W/ MAGNESIUM, AND BROMELAIN (SP?)
AND MEDICATIONS INCLUDING:
OXYCONTIN & NORTRYPTOLINE.
ALSO HAVE CUT OUT ALL SUGAR AND WHEAT, AND AM FOLLOWING A LOW-CARB/HIGH-PROTIEN DIET.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCES OR PROVIDE ANY WORDS OF WISDOM YOU MAY HAVE.
WE'VE GOTTEN APPROVAL FOR THE FIRST 4 WKS, AND WHO KNOWS AFTER THAT??????

Please don't write in all caps...it's really hard to read. It's also internet speak for yelling...

I'm not sure about your antibiotics, I have a different one but your nutritional supplements sound like a good regiment.

Hope others with more knowledge will have some input for you.

Looks like you just about covered everything.

Hope you go longer than 4 weeks on Rocephin.

Two years ago I was also placed on it for 4 weeks, did a lot of good.

Lyme came back this past summer. Waiting to start on 8 week stint and then 6-12 months of oral.

Thanks for your response!

My dr. wrote 4-8 weeks on the note, but the nursing co. got approval for the first 4, claiming this is the protocal. Then, and I'm wondering when, she'll request the next 4 wks. Do you know anything about this?? I'm sorry to hear of your Lyme's return. I hope you have quick results when your treatment begins.
Are you familiar with long-lasting dizziness as herxing?? Is this vertigo??
