I was on my way home.. after a LONG day at 2 doctors appointments.. and I wanted FOOD!

I went and got me a PIZZA to take home .. knowing I would be too tired to cook.

Then I stopped at the last doctors office so I could go in and get a supplement he had ordered for me which finally came in.

While inside.. MAYBE all of 5 minutes at the MOST.. if THAT long..

I left, as usual, my car doors unlocked and the key in the ignition. My cell phone.. money and purse were all in plain view on the seat.

I picked up the supplement.. went back to the car.. and there ... written in red.. was a note on the pizza box that said..

"Thank you"

It is a small private parking lot.. and I looked around and saw no one near by... and no other cars other than the doctors and secretaries car.

Confused.. I opened the pizza box that was sitting on the seat.. and one slice was missing.

Your welcome?

I never have figured out who snatched the pizza.

I have been having problems from herxing and have had to have the chiropractor work on me a good bit extra lately.

Sometimes they adjust me two or three times in one day... and it is hard to get my body to do what it is suppose to.

The other day.. after my neck wouldn't adjust right after the second try.. the chiropractor left the room and said he needed a hammer.

I started laughing a bit.. thinking he was talking about how hard it was to work on me... and he was kidding.

A minute or so later.. he walks back in with a REAL hammer.

Rather shocked.. I wasn't sure how frustrated he was.. and I just stared at him.

He said.. "Get up".

Of course I did.

He then moved towards me with the hammer in his hand..

He reached around me.. lifted the edge of the table.. and started banging on the metal bars underneath.

Whew...

I stopped in a "WA WA" store the other day... a brand new one outside a little town I had passed through while driving on back roads through the country.

It was busy! There didn't appear to be any parking places anywhere.. so I pulled up and looked at the sites directly in front of the store to see if a spot was empty... or was about to be.

While sitting there.. I looked down.. and all over the place there were "notes" on the pavement along the outter edge of the parking area.

It said.. many times.. in big, bold, painted white letters..

"No van or truck parking"

Hmmmm.. I thought. I am in my truck.. so I guess that means ME. Darn.. I am going to have to drive to the area far from the store and walk a long while .. IF I can find a space.

As I started to pull off.. I noticed there was a truck parked in the place where it said no trucks or vans.

Then I noticed another truck next to it.. then another.. then another. AND.. there was ONE van there too.

Well.. it made me laugh. I thought.. if THEY can do it.. why can't I?

Then I looked around at the other parking spaces that were full... where there were no signs about vans and trucks.

EVERY single spot had a truck or a van in it.

Except one... way far away from the door. There was a little white car parked in that spot.

My bet?

It was the managers parking spot.

In farm country.. we often own pick up trucks and vans. Very rarely do we see "cars".

Ya think that was a "city" sign?

Ya think anyone is ever going to obey those stupid signs?

HA!

Tincup..I am still smiling..Wish I had a video of the hammer situation..We could all make money for Lyme disease..

Well as for the pizza, bet someone was just hungry.Thought if you had lyme, you needed to be on special diet..Is pizza part of it..Hum....

My daughter had to almost have a pricey radio stolen to start locking up..

Now for the signs..It isn't against farmers, or country folk...It is to prevent theft of gas, so they can see the pumps..Bigger vehicles obstruct the vision of the cashiers..and they can't see who is driving off without paying..

Good luck with the medical thingies...

Hmm. I wonder why only one piece of pizza. HA!

It would have been pretty tempting to take the whole box.

Next time you see the chiro...you might want to bring in some nails.

Enjoyed the stories. Life can be entertaining in itself at times.

Darling only you could encounter Birds in IFR conditions...(pilots joke)

If it was me swiping the slice I would have at least left a buck.

The hammer would have had me sweating too.

Be blessed.
