Any Strong Medicine fans? They educate viewers about women's health problems. I would love to see a show with someone suffering from Stage III Lyme Disease. http://www.lifetimetv.com/about/write.html select STRONG MEDICINE in the topic box.
I love this show. I just emailed a passionate plea for a show on Lyme Disease. I hope to at least get a response.
I once saw a great episode of another tick disease, a very serious one called tuleremia, but I don't remember which cable channel ran it. I'm just wishing and hoping for national TV coverage.
My dad once worked with the producer Bill Banyon who does the shows called "A Baby Story", "A Wedding Story" and the like, on one of the cable channels. Is it TLC? or Lifetime? I need to investigate this connection.
I extremely dislike Michael Moore but can't help but think he would love the controversy over lyme disease for his next project about the healthcare system...
Thanks for posting this.

Yeah, I watch Strong Medicine. I think it's a great show (although kind of soap operaish). It would be awesome if we could get them to do an episode about someone with Lyme disease and show the truth of it (not just gloss over it like a lot of other shows tend to do). It's on Lifetime on Sundays at 9pm EST and now they're also showing another episode at 10pm EST.
The other shows you were talking about (A Baby Story, Wedding Story, etc.) are on TLC.
Gee, I guess my TV watching shows! When there's nothing else to do and getting out of the house isn't an option, it's nice to have some good shows on TV to keep me company!
