Because of the frustration of no one understanding my mental detoriation I want to be part of this group. I have epilepsy and every time I hiccup it is because of medication or the epilepsy. Never mind the uncontrollable behaviorable changes, rashes, convulsions, no memory, insomia, legs going numb, austic behavior, slurred speech, hallucinations, paralysis, memory loss and the desire to go postal on the medical profession. They knew not what to do so the tweeked my epilepsy medication, leading to grand mals in over 10 yrs - so, it must be the seizures. And gave me ativan for 'bad days' - now I am totally dismissed by the doctors, only thing they do is give me medicine. Went to N.C. and was finally diagnosed. Because of symptoms I am a lab monkey at the Mayo trying to find the right medication to get my seizures under control. Wanted to hold off on the treatment until this is done. Crying one moment, full of anger the next. Any thoughts? I am very new to this out of body/mind experience. No one understands and it is frutrating because I know not how to make them understand. What is the road very traveled before me?
