To those of you who have been so amazingly helpful, too many that I can not name, I owe you my life and my sanity at times.

Hopefully there may even be a few i helped but if not then I'm sorry for not doing my job well enough.

Please all, take good care of yourselves and strive for better health - you all deserve it.

And as always, most of all, please always take care of the children.

LS/Aaronkatie

Mo and Ryan,

You don't know me yet, but I need people like you around to help me through this. Instead of saying goodbye, let us know you'll be taking a little vacation and will talk to us soon. Okay?

I thought I was the only one in the dark.
Makes me feel better that others don't know what's going on either.

LS/Aaronkatie,
We need you here.
Please just take a little break & then come on back.
You've learned so much, so you have a lot you can share - especially concerning children with Lyme disease.

Please reconsider.
Sending lots of concern & support to you.

Dearest Lymesux,

What is this I hear? You are leaving us?

Say it is not so!!!

You absolutely, positively CANNOT leave.

I simply forbid it, Ms LSX.

No way, no how!

I couldn't stand it for missing you.

You couldn't stand it.

But most of all....Lymenet couldn't stand it.

You are such an amazing mom.

You are such an amazing friend.

As Cbb so wisely said it, if you need a break, take it, but don't stay away too long!

When my world was falling apart, what happened?

YOU posted a reply.

YOU emailed me.

YOU made me feel like I wasn't alone.

YOU made me feel safe.

So let US be there for you now. Please just consider it, ok?

Now, you KNOW you have been feeling Lyme horrid lately and`the stuff with Kaitlin has you worried sick.

"Leaving Lymenet when you feel dreadful?"

Survey says: "NO"

And, I also know you are probably doing all the heavy lifting by yourself and trying to do it while you are feeling wretched.

Well, you know what? You don't have to do that cuz I'm here to help and those aren't just words.

And you know what else? There are sooo many other folks here at Lymenet who really care because you are so special it comes SHINING through all the time.

And you do have to admit, we ARE a pretty resourceful bunch. So, we CAN make it better.

So face it.

You're stuck with us. Cuz we love you too much.

Now maybe the problem is that you think that some of us are just a hopeless bunch of nuts.

Well, yeah! You've probably got a point there.

But isn't there something just a little bit fun about reading those posts,(never MINE, of course) rolling your eyes and scrolling on by? Hmmm?

Much more entertaining than tv.

Either way, there are so many smart, loving, generous folks here that love you and want you to stay and want to help.

And you deserve some TLC from US. That's what we're here for.

So, what can we do to help?

Lets take a little walk down imagination lane. Hmmm....

Are you tired, achey and miserable?

We'll send a big gorgeous strapping Swede to give you a month of massages.(Or do you prefer Tall, Dark and Handsome?)

And his Mom to take care of the kids and do all the cooking and cleaning.

Was somebody mean to you?

Let's have the above-mentioned Swede beat em up! (Maybe his Mom can help with that, too)

Are you being hard on yourself?

Well, stop it right now! You've got kids and they think that's their job!

No, seriously, on all of the above, PLEASE give yourself a break and treat yourself with the same loving care you give to others.

I know it's hard for you to get help around your house with the kids and all (Boy, do I know). If you need help, call me; you have my phone #.

Plus, who else is gonna understand the looney tunes, huh? We need each other, babe.

Hmmm...

Perhaps ze patient needs zum jokes? Hokay.

These will be kinda girly jokes/words of wisdom:

1. The idea of minding our own business is rubbish. Who could be so selfish?

2. I refuse to think of them as chin hairs. I prefer to think of them as stray eyebrows.

3. Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you cry with your girlfriends.

4. If you can keep your head about you when all around you are losing theirs, it's just possible you haven't grasped the situation.

5. Never fear shadows. They simply mean there's a light shining somewhere nearby.

Love,
peace and prayers,
andie, JC & Julie

Well, little lady, you've just made my day.
So relieved to hear you will be back.

Andie, I agree with everything you said!!
And you said it so eloquently!!

I know I'm repeating myself, but -
you Moms who have children so sick with Lyme are a real inspiration to me. You share your knowledge & expertise so willingly.......even when you're coping with so many problems of your own.

Sending lots of hugs & bunches of love!!

Dear Lymesux,

I am new this week...or was it last week? Can't remember cuz I have L..L.L.L...what's it called? Ly...Ly.. you know that tick borne disease.... I'll think of it. (smiles)

I can't remember why I was writing. Oh yeah. You were one of the first writers on Lymenet that I could identify with. I don't have kids with Lyme, but I do have kids, and I could relate to your approach, tone and message.

Don't feel you need to be here all the time for people like me. I just appreciate the continuity of participants, so I can see how people have adjusted and overcome situations. It helps me believe that even if I never get cured that there are many things to be thankful for.

You are obviously a caring and giving mom. Treat yourself to something good.

Sometimes it makes me feel good even if I have to limp my way to go out to the movie theatre with my kids. Even if I sleep through the movie, I know while I snooze through it, I'm flanked on either side by my kids. And then on the way home they get to tell me what it was all about! (smiles)

Just another newbie,

Meemer

I saw that comment...

AND.. young lady...

I want you to know..

I ain't crazy!

HEY!

I HAVE PROOF!

They did a survey round here... not too long ago.

Not ONE of the ones questioned would say I was crazy.

As a matter of fact... NOT ONE would say even ONE bad word about me.

So THERE!

AND ...

I didn't even have to pay them to keep quiet!

I just promised that I wouldn't eat ANY of them (the oysters that kept their mouths shut) when asked about my sanity.

As for YOU...

Hmmmmmmm...

This is an ORDER!

HA! I LOVE to feel important... hehehe

Strip down naked.. right now.

Yes.. I am serious.

DO IT!

Now..

Have ya got them clothes off?

You do?

I can see you....

tee hee hee

Oh.. what WAS the point here...

Oh yeah..

OK.. NOW... young lady...

When you get dressed this time..

Put on a layer of armour under those clothes.

Or on top of them.. what ever floats yer boat.

Now..

That will help make you not so soft and squishy.. and will make bad thoughts bounce off you before they get under your skin.

See.. it works!

I SAW that smile!

I did so!

I'm new here, only a month or two. My son is infected. There isn't a day that goes by, that I don't thank God you wonderful people are here. I feel when every story is posted here, it actually makes me mad. I wish I could make it all go away.

I cringe every time I walk in my boy's room and see him laying down, pale, dejected, wondering if he'll ever get better. I know he will, because you will.

You'll never know the comfort, and peace that you can bring to a child just by posting. Even if you don't think you're getting better, you are.

Thank you, and all others on this board who post.
You never stand as tall, when you stoop to help a child.

The good Lord will have a special place for you, but that won't be till much, much, later. He has work, and plans for you here.
Bless you and yours.
Mike

That was really nice, Mike. This board has been very special for me too. I don't think I would have made it if I hadn't found it.

Having the support and being able to ask any question in the world is priceless.

Your son will bounce back....keep his hope up so he can do it. You sound like a great dad!

Thank you Mike - and yes your son will get better.

I am so sorry you and he are going thru this though, it is a tough road for any of us but for the children it is the most unfair.

Thanks for reminding me of that. And hug your son extra tight for me please.
