Just checking in here tonite - I like this one! Only in our case, it's not so much a choice as a necessity.
Example - it's better if I go up hills backwards than forwards, for my back's sake. When I do this, people sometimes ask me what I'm doing and I tell them I can enjoy the view better this way. This is intriguing to people and sometimes they turn around and go up the hill backwards with me!
Another example - I have to lie down on the train, due to my back instability. When people ask me what I'm doing there, I tell them I'm going to levitate in X minutes. They're generally VERY impressed with my supposed levitation powers! I make sure to name a time that's after my train stop!

I love your peculiarities!! I might try going uphill backward too. ingenious for an unstable back!! As far as levitating.....I don't have an occasion to ride a train, darn!!
