Hello Lyme friends! Just a short message from a voice of the past..I continue to be Lyme free...after four years of IVs...I'm on my fourth year of healthy freedom! I had this dreadful disease for at leat 10 years before being properly diagnosed. So don't ever give up hope! There is light at the end of your journey. Good luck. Gail

Thanks. It's great to hear from someone who's been doing well for so long.

Gail,

Thank you so much for coming back for an inspirational visit! I'm going into year three of treatment, and sometimes wonder what the heck I'm doing. It's really meaningful to hear from someone who took a long time to get well, but persisted and got there.

Wow, four years of IV. That oughta do it! Which meds? Did you follow up with orals?

Glad you're doing so well!

Wow. Thanks for coming back and telling us who are still in the midst of it all.

That is truly great news and for someone like me who's also been ill for 15 years - it gives renewed hope I may have normal life once again.

Hi Gail,

I just wanted to clarify something. Are you saying that you did 4 years of IV and have now been symptom free for 4 years after finishing your IVs? I just wanted to make certain that we were talking a total of 8 years and not 4.

I'm glad to hear you are doing better and I hope your continue to do well.
