Tree, I'm sure you are so worried about him. Please remember to take care of yourself and your family.
I was so upset when my dad had a heart attack, followed by surgery to replace a leaky valve. But after he recuperated from that, he felt better than he had in years.
I pray that your father will soon feel better, that the bleeding will stop, and that the irregular heart beat will even out. And that his nurses and doctors will be observant and compassionate, so that he will benefit from their knowledge and experience.

My dad had another heart attack. He needs prayer for the rythum of his heart to stay good, also he has some bleeding in his throat from the resperator that (was) there and because of the blood thinners that needs to stop also they are taking a baloon pump that was installed during the stint operation that they are going to try to remove it today .
This is his second the first one five years ago that they said he had very poor chance of living from that one which left him with 10% of his heart then. But God seen fit to let him here and Iam praying he still has a few more years too.
Thanks everybody and pray for his recovery.
Thanks to all who are praying for him God bless all of you.

My heart and prayers are with you all.
Please tell your dad... "Tincup sends her best". Then be prepared to spend 15 minutes explaining THAT statement!
And please... hold onto the smiles in between the medical nightmares... and say your peace. Now.

Tree, your Dad, you, and family have my prayers to get his heart rhythm settled again.
My Dad was 86.5 when he died 3.5 years ago. He was the "cat with 27 lives"! He defined the odds his entire life.
Twice he was paralyzed from his neck down from rare diseases; both times recovering.
Twice he was operated on to remove the MAIN heart artery. 1st one lasted 8 yrs. and his heart dr. never expected to see him again, but did for 2 successful years for testing done.
So hang in there, pray to God or whoever you believe in, for his divine intervention.
Tree, how old is your Dad? My blessings to all of you & prayers.

Tree, thanks for the update on your Dad's health & his youthful 77 years.
Dad too was on blood thinners. He didn't even know he had an ulcer until he started throwing up huge blood chunks! Took him to ICU, and he got 20 plus transfusions! It was going out as fast as it was going in. He lived another 18 years! My best to your Dad/your family.

Oh Tree, you and your family are in my prayers. Know that your 'other family' is behind you to help keep you strong while you play the 'hurry up and wait game' at the hospital.

Hey Tree, That sounded like a good update on your Dad!! Things are moving in the right direction..... Know that you have so many wonderful supportive friends here and we're all praying for your Dad.........Hang in there and take care of yourself!!
My Dad also had an irregular heartbeat this summer and had to be re-started 2x, and then had a catheter abilation which took care of it. Now we are told he has congestive heart failure, but he's doing o.k. I often wonder if he doesn't have lyme......he was a big hunter in his day!

tree, i'm so happy to hear that your dad is out of icu and doing better. what a relief. I pray that he continues to improve.
i lost my father in sept. and although I am so so sad and devastated on some days I know that I gave my dad everything I had to offer to him.
I couldn't have loved him anymore thanI did, and I was able to tell him that shortly beforehe died. I spent as much time with him growing up and even as an adult because I knew that he would leave me one day. I had no regrets whatsoever. By the grace of God I was even there holding his hand when he passed. I got the coolest gift of all. He had been in a coma for a day and right before he died he opened his eyes and cried. He was saying goodbye.
Hope this wasn't a downer...wasn't meant to be. I'm sure you know this already, but my message to other's reading as well is: be with the ones you love as much as possible and tell them everyday how much you love them. Pretend each day is our last.

In answer to your question on TuTu's Mom post, I seem to MISS important posts...klike yours.
My father just had Lung Cancer surgery, at 78. I empathise with you as well as TuTu!
I am glad to hear your father is better. Me?
Taking Tinidazole and Ketek...the brain is **&*&* up!
Hey Tree...since you first came on this board you have evolved into being a very helpful person. Thank you!
You, Tinny, TuTu, etc., are all doing God's work in your own ways. I am not a religious person, but after going through the Pope's death and learning about his life, well... things have changed. What an incredible man!
To ALL of "Santa's Little Helpers" out there, thank you for caring about others!
