Dear Friends,

It has been a long time since I've written. Good news! I've been on ten months of antibiotics, the first month was Rocephin IV, and then oral Doxy-400 mgs a day. I am able to walk again with out pain. I have energy and my memory and slurred speech are no longer a problem. There is hope. We can get better.

Thanks for all the support. I don't know what I would've done without all you warm supportive faceless strangers. I'm sure I would've gone mad.

I'll keep you informed what happens next month when I am off the Doxy. I think it will mark the end to a very long and frightening road. For now I've come through the other side.

Love you!
Meem
