Hi Amy,

How old are you? Check out this SSA info.

Then find specifically the CHILDREN OR ADULT "IMPAIRMENT" LIST. Check thru the 14 sections to see what applies to ALL of your health problems of why

"you can NOT do any sustainable work now nor in the foreseeable 12 months".

See also my post in medical by me on 2nd SSDI hearing scheduled, need help. I've outlined more there.
http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/033680.html

Also do a search for SSDI. If no luck take the time to do a 1 screen at a time search.

Go to the DISINISSUES site where you will need to sign up...give minimum info only there! Read below.

When there, look for the FEMALE DRS. detailed background she handed in with her app...she was approved 1st time and on 1st step...UNHEAD OF! Very few are. Print hers off to give you an idea of what you need to show why you can NOT work now nor in the forseeable 12 months.

I've been in this stressful process 5 yrs. this 8-05! The above site and child/adult APPROVED disability list of impairments is to be your benefit to look carefully there.

A must also is 5-10 years of your medical history for medical evidence showing you HAVE SSA's disability!

And we've missed you! I wish I could help you out. I would definitely persue the disability thing if you think you won't be able to work anytime soon.

Are you getting good Lyme treatment? Hang in there!

Your massage therapist is not an LLMD. Perhaps you could suggest to your doctor to try another antibiotic. Many LLMDs are now using ketek, 400 or 800 mg a day. Read the posts about ketek and other antibiotics. Some LLMDs may not be up to speed.

Another thought-many arthritis sufferers find that glucosamine helps-usually 500 mg three times a day. CVS has it. Sometimes it takes a month to notice results.

Amy,

Isn't your doc in Cape Girardeau ? He's supposed to be very good, but I heard he was out of the loop for a while.
