Most of the drugs they keep finding dangerous are anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs)which are very different from pain killers.

The really sad thing is that many doctors refused to give their patients pain killers, but were happily writing prescriptions for Vioxx and other NSAIDs.

People get way bent out of shape about the dangerousness of these medications.

14,000 people die every year as a result of asprin--not the abuse of asprin, but the normal usage.

All drugs have side effects in some people.
