My husband and I have been searcing for a new llmd ever since our old doc quit his practice last fall.

We flew down to see Dr. J down in North Carolina, convinced that he was a good choice. Right away I had problems with the treatment that he prescribed, so I called his office (several times) and a week later I am still waiting to hear back from him or his nurse.

Has anyone else had this problem? Do any of you know anything about the way he treats lyme? I am really uneasy about my treatment....not because he's not a good doctor, but I react to a lot of medicines pretty strongly.

He sent me home with 5 new antibiotics and doesn't return my calls when I have problems with the meds. I guess I'm just feeling frustrated and kind of like he has left me hanging.

If you are more comfortable emailing me your responses that's fine with me. My address is [email protected]

Just looking for some support and input.
Thanks!

Hi,
I go to the J clinic. My first appointment was in Feb. My first trip they run all kinds of blood test and the western blot. I went back in March and was diagnosed with babs and Lyme. My first meds were Zith, Meperon, Clindamycin, Flaqel. I did not have much trouble with the first month, but the second month I had trouble and called them. They responded with in one hour with directions with what I should do. When I am there they stay as long as I need them to. I had more then one question!! Last month went really well also. They change my meds every month. I finish my third month this week. and then I have a week off.I will be glad to answer any more questions you have. You may e-mail me.
