Well it is now almost 5 months later. I feel as though I am waking from a Lyme coma. I can not beleive I can feel so well. I still have many physical symptoms just not as intense. I don't feel great but think I will get there. I know slow and steady wins the race.

However my mental health is improving as well. I know I have brain lesions and hopefully they will resolve with treatment.

There is also anger that it took over 3 years out of work, and 11 years of symptoms and concerns expressed. Spent all of my life savings before diagnosis. I did recently get approved for SSDI. This will give me a bit more time to recover fully. I am hopeful again.

It is weird I can not wait to get back to work. Where do I tell people I have been? I am college educated and talented. I know people are always looking for good people. I just don't know where to say I have been. I know it may be a few more months before I get back. I am just chomping at the bit.

The part of me that wants to let out a YEEHAAA!!!

My regiment was that of Dr. D. 4 months of Tetra and now Biaxin and Plaquinel. I know I have about another 18 months of treatment ahead of me.

It has all been so frustrating. I just want to be able to maintain my energy. Which at this point still waxes and wanes.
I have been trying to ride to bike to get my strength back. I think my mind is healing faster than my body.
However I do still become very saddened by it all.

Although I do again have hope.

Did you have post test or just treat w/o pos test?

It helps to hear if someone has had success fighting babesia. It's what seems to be hanging me up at this point...

I have days when I feel like I could conquer the world. Then I go out and do a few errands and feel like I ran a marathon.

I have had a marked decrease in spasms and twitches. Not having them constantly seems to have also helped my anxiety level. Not sure if it is the chicken or the egg there. But those jolts can keep one on their toes.

I had appt with my GP today. Got follow up of MRI. Still have lesions but they have not gotten worse. So I guess that glass is half full. He really is useless when it comes to Lyme. I feel like I am speaking in tongues when discussing Lyme with him.

Hoping to start looking for a job in the next six weeks. I am very apprehensive because I will be going back on Tetra in the fall. It really kicked my butt last time. Although things were getting better before I started the Biaxin and Plaquenil. Keeping my fingers crossed.
