I visit your board daily as my brother was diagnosed with Advanced Lyme Dec 04. I have learned alot from all of you - the information is great! Makes me feel more capable of understanding and helping him!
I saw the post about House Bill 1534 and e-mailed my senator to vote YES (It was a rather lenghty e-mail once I got started!)
My question - has a Senator actuall ever called any of you???? I got home from work today to a message with his phone # and to please return the call...called he was tied up and I was told he would return my call. I am just wondering what I can expect when do connect with him. I am anxious to hear what he has to say, but don't want to be caught off guard.
Any input appreciated - we need all the help we can get fighting this disease, I want to be preapred for whatever he sends my way!
Thanks!

Sure, the Senators call me everyday.
No, actually I am intriqued. When you talk to the senator please tell him to do all he/she can to support a similar bill in the senate and to get it thru this year.

Yes it is the one in PA Legislature. I made it very clear I was asking on the behalf of a loved one. Although I have learned ALOT - I am not nearly as educated as alot of you folks, thus the nervousness - I truly have the Lyme Victim's best interests at heart. I guess I'll have to wait and see where it goes.....wish me luck!

Which Sen. S was it that called you? I called both Sen. Santorum and Sen. Spector and didn't get any reply. I emailed Sen. Greenleaf and got a personal letter.

joprit - It was Sen. Joseph Scarnati that called me - his hometown is about 20 miles from mine. Suppose that had something to do with it???? I kinda' wondered that myself....
