So Tincup,

Did Igenex give you the results yet on those horseflies? You know....... when you used yourself as bait!

Heee hee,

WAIT... WAIT!

BEFORE I forget again...

I wanted to say I sure do enjoy the pretty/funny/cute pictures you post.

They often make me smile. It is a nice change. THANKS!

Now.. bout de bugs.

A couple of problems came up... of course AFTER I was the human guinea pig!

One being the big bucks needed to have them tested. If I go the full route.. it is about $240.00... or about a months worth of grocery money... or a years worth of computer internet service!

Once I thought about that.. I figured hmmmmmmm... a new federal bill trying to get 100 million would be the way to go for this kind of research. I mean I ALREADY know they pass it... I got it that way. So I am basically trying to prove it to a bunch of idiots in the health department who still won't admit Lyme is a problem here!

I still have the little critters.. but need to research Bartonella a bit more also to see if it would survive in the host after the host is dead. If dead.. can the Bartonella still be detected? I don't know if they have studied that or not. Some organisms deterioate and if this does... could the DNA be so destroyed it would be hard to detect? I don't know.

It's a PCR test too. And PCR's.. well lets just say it often takes LOTS of them to get something there actually detected.

Too bad I didn't figure all that out sooner!

Anyhow... No sense sending them my hard earned dollars if my chances are slim. Ya think?

So.. I guess that means they got a free ride... or at least a free meal this time. Unless I get the all clear to ship them out soon.

The research lab is backed up right now too. I'm still waiting for results on human tissue sent over a month ago from a patient with an unusual problem. My guess is the recent "attack" on the lab has them busy too and they don't need Tincup bugging them right now.

And yesterday I got a call from somone who has saved me a mess of ticks to play with.

So.. bugs bugs bugs.. a never ending joy.

That bites! No pun intended. Ha ha.

I'm glad everyone is enjoying the pics. I enjoy picking them out.
