We're just beginning to navigate this nasty lyme maze. Our 8 year old son has lyme. He's seeing a llmd. We have several very open-minded family doctors who are friends. They are supportive of whatever is in the best interest of our son, and agree that they probably can only guess at what that is. Can some one give me a few informative articles to give them? Of course, the biggest issue seems to be treatment. Are there articles I can show them that will support the idea that that our son needs to be on long term antibiotics? We're totally frustrated with doctors like one my son saw who told us his symptoms were phsychosomatic. If we would have listened to him, the price would have been disgusting. However, I see an opportunity to change a few other doctors' mindset in a way that could be life-changing for someone else in the future. Need your help.
