I haven't posted here for awhile. I don't seem to have time to sit down and play on the computer.
I have felt so crappy for the past two days. I feel like I am in a herx from &*^#.

Sore throat achey from my toes to my head and a bad headache. I just want to sleep but I can't because I have kids and a husband who is struggling to keep our business afloat. So no help there.

I know I am whining but I just have not felt this bad for months. I want to cry. Ok I am crying.

It will be one year in October since I started treatment and I am still in this place. Still in pain. When will I feel better?!!!!

Anyway time to pull myself together and go pick up my kids.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Merrie

Hang in there - it sounds like you and I are in a similar place right now - feeling crummy with little time to talk with anyone else who knows how it feels!

If you can't smile right now I will smile here for you and maybe it'll be contagious.

It will get better!

Hi--

I am sorry you are feeling so crumy. I am having a hard time right now myself. I was diagnosed after being ill for 15 years on and off in Feb of 2004, began iv abx in May 04 until January of this year. I then was on heavy doses of orals and found out that I have a liver disease called NASH and am not able to continue my abx any more.

slowly a lot of the symptoms that were starting to resolve are coming back. I feel as if I am swimming through jello on a daily basis trying to live.

My mind is the biggest thing--I am nowhere near the smart, articulate person I used to be. I have been morning the loss of myself lately big time.

I am always around on and off here--I too find it hard to find the time with a family or am too sore to sit at the puter long enough to type. I will check back if you would like to dump privately in a pm that is great. I will write back.

In the mean time hang in there and know you are not alone. There are a lot of sucess stories and a lot of us that just take a little longer to get well.

Crying spells are part of the lyme as well--I am a pro at them. Herxing for me was always more emotional at times than physical--it sucks--I am sorry we have to live with it--but we are here for out kids and it could be worse

Merrie,
Hi shug you feeling like gunga. and go ahead and cry, your tears get rid of bacteria, or at least that is what i have been told.

I got it, cry a few tears, let them drop on the floor, and just stomp the jeebers out of the bacteria.

Naw, i tell you what you do. You go into the bathroom, get in front of the mirror where you can see at least your upper torso.
Now, wrap your arms around you as tight as you can. Now, turn around and look in the mirror. That will be me hugging you.
God bless, Loretta

Thanks for the replys.

I went out of town for a couple of days and now I feel a little better. At least that herx is gone. I can actually smile and mean it. Wow..it's amazing the things we take for granted isn't it. Smiling?

Have a great nite.
