But I don't expect anyone to wish me Happy Bday because I often don't even come in on this & wish people Happy Bday because I'm either
A: a forgetful jerk
B: afraid that some of these people that I do not really know if some bdays may be children - and what kid needs to be wished happy bday from a WISEASS? You know, I DO have SOME boundaries!
C: some other reason for which I can not recall
D: most of the above.
So, Happy Birthday to me! la la la la
My mother called me early this morning AND WOKE ME UP to wish me happy birthday at the exact time I was born. (Wish I had been born after 9 AM, BTW)
My grandmother called to wish same, and then complained about her sciatica for 30 minutes...
My daughter has just very LOVINGLY made me burnt waffles swimming in butter & syrup (but did an EXCELLENT presentation) to eat in bed, and after that I will officiate at the funeral of our dead rabbit. It just don't git no better than that around here.
And then I must exhaust myself by taking a shower as my father is bringing lunch...and no doubt dad & hubby will want to sit around & watch Labor Dayy sporting events.
I will be going back to bed most likely - as it IS MY birthday - and a gal needs to be able to do what she wants!
Anyway, just wanted to stop by and wish myself a happy birthday. "Happy Bday Wiseass!"

Happy Birthday, Doc!
I don't know how to do clever art-y things with this, but the sentiment is heartfelt (and also something I repeated on another thread).
