You are doing great! Lots of good changes but still good old Lymenet! It took a lot of work, and it is dearly appreciated!

I am very grateful for this site and on many occasions the input I've received has kept me from totally going off the deep end .
I have been able to interact with others who are going through many of the same things as my family and have obtained useful info!
I do enjoy the changes recently and hope to very soon have a success story to report!
Thank you very much! Sherry

I think you're doing great.
How is the fundraising coming along-are the donations still coming in?

Wondering if your computer gurus might make the following improvement to the search function:
WHen you do a search and get greater than 50 responses, to see more than the 50, you hit "more results" however, there is no way to get back to the prior pages. Might said gurus put "previous" and "next" dodads to more easily navigate the search results?
Again, thanks for your work in bringing this site up to a very nice level of function.

Lou, before I forget it, I wanted to say I noticed your name is ON the membership list at lymenews! You mentioned they rejected you. Last night I thought I'd go thru the list of members to see how my LYMENET members there are on there, and there you were listed!
I do like this board over their new lyme board. This is more user friendly than theirs.
Great changes that have occured lately! Glad SEARCH is working the way it was intended.
Glad that you put Treepatrol's newbie links at the top where it should be.
Moderating OUTSTANDING from you & Angela.
Much HAPPIER place to come to vs. where it had been.
NOTE: You were going to have one of the techs check out why I have to use the right arrow for EVERY post I read, etc. It's my carpal tunnel wrist, and it's getting to much of a work out.
SUGGESTION: I would like to see the signature disabled unless you CHOSE to have it shown. Majority of us do NOT use it & it's a pain to have to remember to uncheck it. Just my opinion on this one.
A+ rating from me Lou & Angela! =============================== bettyg

Lou, never met you in real life, but you sound like such a sweet man, and Angela, well, she seems to be such a lovely caring person from the sounds of her posts as well.
The weird twist of events that brought you both back to this board you started in memory of your daughter is something I think was meant to happen, in that this board had seen some pretty strange posters come and go.
I let myself say a bunch of thing this last round that I am embarrassed for saying now, but it doesn't look like my mouth got me kicked off of here, and I"m thankful for that.
You implemented a change I suggested (the make a donation color at the top of each screen) the day I suggested that, and that was awesome to see such quick response! Sure wish I could get my teenage sons to move that fast!
I say you have done well above and beyond what anyone here could have asked for. I am thankful, I think this board is easily to navigate than the other one too, and I have found most if not all of my truly troubling questions answered here for the past 5+ years now and don't intend to leave.
Thank you.

I, like many others, are thrilled with the new speed of the Search function; and think you have added so many other 'fun' things!
I personally like the whole STAR thing - except for now when a couple of bozo's have given me like 2's or something because they don't like me - which I'm just SHOCKED!
But I'm so appreciative of the new instant gremlins, like and and especially this one because I'm 'immature' and 'tasteless':
And when I learned how to insert graphics like these: and it just made everything feel right!
AND the ability to Private Message people - I think THAT can really help to keep some of the back-biting down to a minimum, so now people can theorhetically y "behind closed doors"!
SO THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all the improvements - all the goodies to play with!
With gratitude , hugs &

I just have one request and suggestion. Maybe I can't find it, but I miss the old email button where we could just click and email somebody. The private message system relies on somebody logging in to Lymenet to retrieve their message. I want to know when I get a private message, but I would rather check one place (my email) instead of getting the Email notification of a private message and then having to come back to Lymenet to reply. Maybe we can still give people the option of hiding their email or not. I understand if this is a security issue, if so, then nevermind my idea. I like all the changes. Sound good?

Ha ha, that'll learn you! Ask for feedback, and get fifty suggestions on more things to do.
And by the way, the new system to send private messages thru the board is a good one. Having been spammed monumentally from another board, I no longer want my email address put in any public place.

This site is a lifesaver. At a time when I need something to be simple and easy, I can log on here and get what I need. It has more features (technically speaking) than most and is easy to maneuver. But its the heart and soul of this site that keeps me moving and finding a reason to go on.

The site is superfast and super great! So glad the search function is working, and love the instant gremlins (Never did learn how to put them in before).
You guys have done a great job and deserve a big hug
So sorry we lost so many members, and its kind of sad to see so many users yet so few donations, but am very glad the site was able to continue.
Keep up the great work and thank you for your dedication. I wouldn't be living a normal life again if it weren't for this site.
