Trout's wife had an ultrasound yesterday on two lumps in her breast. She was approaching her two-yr anniversary of being cancer-free this week. She is scheduled for a biopsy Thursday.
Please keep the family in your prayers, as they are really hitting tough times again.

Dear Trout and Family,
My prayers are with you. I must add, when I had this scare the first time, it was about 7 years ago, the surgeon I saw advised against needle biopsy. Had another scare 6 months ago. All OK.
The reason she gave was that if it was cancer, it could leak and spread. She told me to always have the entire lump removed if possible for biopsy to prevent this from happening. Prayers for a good report.

Words can't express how sorry I am that you and your wife are having to experience this health challenge.
You are certainly in my thoughts & prayers (yes, we wiseasses pray too!)
Sometimes it's really hard to know the 'right' thing to say during times like these...and all I can think of right now is a quote by Mother Theresa (which I trust I will just totally screw up)
But she said, and I paraphrase:
"I know God doesn't give me anymore than I can handle. I just wish He didn't trust me so much."
Something that gives me great comfort is my belief that
"We are all spiritual beings having a human experience."
I know your human experiences aren't what you wanted, or expected now -- but the true ESSENCE of you & your wife (of us all) -- is that we are ETERNAL and that INFINITY WITHIN can not be touched by disease.
Trout - just remind her often that she is still beautiful in your eyes; that she is still 'whole'; that you are still soul-mates.
My prayers for you & your wife are for healing, as well as your best & highest good.
Blessings,

Best wishes on her upcoming surgery. Give her an extram hug for me.
My sister was 31 when she was dx w/breast cancer 5 months after Mom died from colon/liver cancer. She was 6.5 yrs. cancer free when it came back & was in her liver.
Hang in there, and keep praying to God that he will carry you during this grieving time in your lives.
The prayers of my family are with you and your wife as you go through this, along with those of all your family here. I was encouraged by this message when my family was going through some tough challenges.."Even though we can't change it in the moment, we carry one anothers burdens." Know that we are here and we are all holding your family up in faith with God in continual strength, love, support and encouragement.
Stay strong, stay positive...and please add my hug to the to give to your wife.
