Caryn,
After reading the Private message, click on the "send reply" button at the top.

Type your reply into the box.

When you are finished, click on the "Send new private message" button that is under the message box (that you just typed in).

Or you can click on the "preview post" button to check how it looks first.

When I want to reply to a message, I usually bring up the message twice, in TWO windows.
Then I click "reply" on one of them, and leave the other so that I can refer to it, switching back and forth as needed.

----------

Do you know how to "shift click?"
This will bring up the link you are clicking on in a new window.

Instructions:
With your right hand, move the mouse so that the pointer is at the spot you intend to click.

With your left hand, press the "shift" button (located on your lower left keyboard).

Then left click the mouse, while the shift button is depressed.

Voila! The link opens in a new window.
Just close the window when you are finished with it. This saves alot of time, as you don't have to wait for the last page you looked at to reload when you want to return to it.

I particularly like to use this method when I'm shopping online.

But...sometimes a site is "wired" so that you can't "shift click" to bring up a link in a new window. Very annoying.

Hope this helps!
Carol

I just sent you a private email. See if you can send a reply. If not, just post here again and we'll try to help some more.
