Hi!
Haven't posted for a while due to my Dad has had a bad stroke and we just got him semi better and he got septicimea and nearly died, 3 children, husband that hates computer(thinks I am having an on line affair or something) and lyme of course.Basically awful 2 months.

My heart goes out to all those in the New Orleans area.We have been watching it on the news and it is horrific, unbelievable.I am so sorry.

I am still plodding along although I am plodding a bit backwards at the moment.I have been on a completely grain free diet lately to see if it helps and I am experiencing symptoms from way back which scared me.

I have got that awful mid afternoon 'I want to die sick fatigue back every day'.I haven't had it for a year or so and can't work it out.I am so over lyme once again. It really is your worst nightmare,so cryptic etc.

Anyone had any amazing breakthroughs while I have been absent? If so I want to know as what I am doing is a waste of time.

Maybe it is all the stress from my Dad that is making me worse/Who knows?

Shall try to listen in and respond a bit more .Sorry for my absence.I see a lot of new people on here again.End of the summer over there I suppose.

Take care,Sue from Downunder.

I think IM Bicillin and an oral macrolide is helping me-but it's only been 4 months

I was taking ketek but switched to Biaxin because of bad yeast problems which seem to be resolving on biaxin.

Hi!
Thanks Janet for the feedback. It is funny but that is what my LLMD was talking about trying next with me.He actually said that the way I have been with lyme(not responding much to anything) he would probably keep me on the IM bicillin for the rest of my life to try and keep this thing under control.
Nice to hear from you Ann.Still working hard to help the plight of all us Lymies I see from your posts.

Take care,Sue.

Hi Sue,

Nice to hear from you and sorry to hear of your travails.

Keep your chin up - at least you've found a doc who sounds like he's willing to work with you.

Sue
