Trails had mentioned that Alice Walker wrote a book entitled "Same River Twice". I went to the library catalog and could not find that book under her name. Is that the correct title or author. She has written about neurolyme and I would be interested in the book if I could locate it as I am dealing with these issues.

Thanks a bunch [group hug] AnnOH. Sometimes just one word can throw a person off especially when they are already cognitively challenged. I'll check out the website too.

Ann,
Thanks so much for posting this interview link. I've read Walker's book (and a lot of her writing) but this had some new information and insights.

Than ks!

Andie

You are both so welcome. Now you can buy the book and others on Amazon and get some money for the LDA!

The Same River Twice is MOSTLY about the filming of The Color Purple, but has SOME of her battle with Lyme in there as she was VERY sick during the filming and didnt get diagnosed until afterwards.

Probably about as much writing as Amy Tan did, maybe a bit less, in her Memior book.

Just wanted to let you know that the ENTIRE book or even LARGE/Most parts of it are NOT about Lyme.
