I know it's a big commitment of time & energy for the organizers/coordinators, but it's a wonderful part of the holidays for our family, too.

We ask folks who are having a hard time financially with doctor and medical bills for their lyme sick family members, to let us know if we can help out with Christmas presents.
Parents let us know the ages of their children...what size clothing they wear, and each child's interest.
We are assigned a child (or children) and asked to buy a medium size gift or to fill a shoe box with little gifts unwrapped. Then we mail them to the parents so they can wrap them and put them under their tree.
It is such a happy way to say "we care" and I always enjoy shopping!
Has Barb been on lately?

I talked to barb about a month ago. I was unable to buy for my children the past 2 yeas due to my husband getting lyme and being to sick to work. But I Emailed her because this year financially I could help another family that needs help. She said if she was doing it this year she would let me know. She usually post around this time of the year. Last year she posted it on the 11th.
