Gayle I was out of town for a few days and was so sad to log on tonight and hear about your mother.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, with Della and with your whole family.

Dearest Tutu,
This is such a wrenching thing to go through with those you love. I hope there is peace and I am already sure there is much love. May you have strength. We will all be thinking of you and sending love.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I haven't had to make the decisions you are about to make, but I prayed the Lord to give you the direction and peace of mind and spirit to help you through it all.
I had to watch my grandmother go through a slow passing. To top it off, she worried about us worring about her. Finally, we just decided to talk, and to share stories and to hold hands, cry, laugh and support each other with arms, when words got hard.
She just kept reassuring us, this is just a stepping off place to the real adventure...but all the love we have here, we do get to take that with us. I believe her...and am glad we gave her such a show of love. And as the nurse said, "our permission to let go"...
Prayers of healing and love to you you all Tu, Please keep us posted...Stay strong
