I live in Denver and was diagnosed with Lyme about 6 weeks ago after visiting several doctors over the last year. My Dr. says she has seen a number of cases. Yet, all the information I find on the internet basically says it doesn't exist in Colorado.
a) Are there any more recent stats that show that Lyme DOES exist in Colorado? b) Is there anyone else out here who has it? c) If so, do you know of any support groups out here?

I thought more colorado BRONCO fans would be posting here for you...but I guess they are all still partying!
There is Lyme in CO and there are Lyme Literate docs there too. I dont have the time to find the info right now. I hope someone comes along here and helps out.
There used to be a support group in CO too!

Thank you so much for your kind response. I feel fairly alone and isolated. No one in Colorado even knows what Lyme disease is.
I do have a GREAT Lyme-literate doctor -- at the Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Center here. I feel confident that she has me on the right regimen -- long and grueling though it is.
I do hope to hear from other folks from Colorado. I think we are sorely in need of an awareness campaign out here.

Hi Naomi! Thanks for your message. I feel better already knowing someone else in this state going through this ordeal. How do you like Colorado? That must be some doctor you have!
My Dr. is great, too. Fully lime literate and more... I am very thankful that I found her!! The last doctor I went to told me to take Tylenol Arthritis for two weeks and call him back.
Thanks again and have a great weekend. Go Broncos! :-)
